Great for young kids and steep driveways
The driveway guard works great where our driveway starts to go downhill. It keeps balls and other toys from going into the road. Though it is not intended to "catch" children, it is in fact a visual and physical barrier. Sometimes it doesn't completely retract all the way back into itself, but it may be a user error on my part. This is actually our second driveway guard because a UPS driver backed into the first one. We had the first guard for two years prior to that. We have been very happy with the product and would recommend purchasing one.
Great driveway guard
This is a great safety gate. We live on a 55mph road with a nice big driveway, and now I feel a lot safer letting my son ride his bike in the driveway. The retracting feature is brilliant. The gate closes up very neatly when not in use. The poles fit into two PVC pipes that are placed in the ground, which makes the gate easily set up and taken down. It sags a little in the middle, because our driveway is fairly wide, but it gets the job done. Perfect for anyone with kids.
Works Great!
Our property has an open driveway, so this was perfect for our two kids, ages 2 and 4. It allows them to play safely outside and me a chance to do house work inside
Wow what a difference
I was a bit apprehensive of this gate thinking it would be too flimsy but I am very impressed with the construction. I t stays upright and deters my 2.5 toddler from heading down the driveway which is the game that she loved best when outside. THe gate is extremely easy to install and easier to use. She could push it down if she were more aggressive (the gate is only a poly net) but she has respected the boundary. I can now enjoy being outside without chasing after her every 2 min. Highly recommended
Worthy investment and peace of mind..
I have twin 2 year old boys, a sloped driveway and I live on a busy street. This gives me piece of mind when I need to work in the driveway or lawn and let my kids play on their ride ons or bikes. Still have to remind them to not purposely crash into it :-)

It's Better To Be Safe Than Sorry
The driveway gate is great because my 2 year old son no longer just runs in the street. The net is not as strong as I would have liked it to be, because there were one or two times, when my son was able to just push it down and/or climb under it. But out of ten times....he'll only get out 2-3 x's. Makes me feel safer knowing it's up and gives me a few more seconds to get him attempting to leave the driveway. Better to be safe than sorry!! If it stops my son atleast once to run in the street, it's def.worth the money!!
Our Driveway Guard
We live on a main road but have a very wide parking area that can hold up to eight cars. It then narrows to a one lane driveway. The Kids Safe Driveway Guard is perfect for our needs. It provides a barrier to keep our grandchildren and guests from even attempting to go towards the road. As it says, it is not protection from pools, but it gives peace of mind to adults monitoring kids at play

Just what the doctor ordered, so to speak. We purchased a 25' guard in order to keep two poodles from going into the street. Works great. Great product. Fast delivery.
Driveway guard
We bought both the 18 and 25 ft guards for the end of our driveway to keep our toddler from wandering into the driveway. They are very easy to install, and easy to use. The created a "border" to teach our toddler to stay within certain confines, and worked very well for us. But, they will NOT serve as a secure gate, and children could get under or over the guard - so you cannot leave them unattended at any time of course. I would love it even more if there was a center pole, just in case it sags a little!

We love the ingenuity of this barrier that stretches across your driveway when kids are at play. There's an element of fun as you pull the bright orange or black mesh across like a big window shade and the ease and simplicity as it retracts (spring-loaded) and disappears after play is over.
