Perfect Solution!
I purchased the Banister Guard because my son liked to drop his toy cars through our railing and down into the living area in our home. One of his toys landed on my glass table top causing the glass to become cracked. This product was easy to put up and only requires a little windex once in a while to wipe away his hand prints and the puppy's nose prints!
Worked perfectly as advertised
I feel that my kids are much safer with this installed - they don't go near the railing any more. It serves as a guard but also a deterrent. Installing it, you don't need to secure it at every spindle - I did it for every 3 spindles and it holds up just fine.
Does the job, invisible!
This is exactly what I wanted and for a decent price. It is invisible from the lower floor and I don't mind the zip ties on the banister, they don't seem to scratch. This product does not do any visible damage to the banister and keeps my son from squeezing through stairs which were not built to code.
Great for my triplets
I absolutely like this piece. After we installed it, very simply by the way, it saved lots of my nerves knowing that my triplets won't be able to shake the railings anymore, and, even more important, be safe!
Another good use
I actually bought this product to prohibit my small dog from slipping through the posts on my outdoor deck. It conveniently includes the hole puncher and plastic ties so there is nothing you need other than what comes in the box. This is the second time I have purchased this product. I know it works well for small dogs so it has got to be great for kids. Very simple to install.
