If you need to trim the length of the Gummi Crib Rail Cover you can easily do this with a pair of scissors. DO Not trim the width of the product or you will cut off the adhesive strips. If the Extra Wide Gummi Crib Rail Cover is too wide ( 6.75"), exchange it for the standard Gummi Crib Rail Cover ( #2700 at 2.75" wide).

Great product, easy to apply
It really was very easy to apply to the crib. I just followed directions, and now, almost a year later, it is sticking as firmly as day one. It looks great in that you can barely see it, and my son must love it too, because he gnaws on it all the time. I only wish that the length they gave you was more, or that I had purchased two boxes. They give you enough for the two sides of the crib, but I would have like it on the front as well. My son doesn't chew there, but it would have been perfect to prevent the scratches and wear that my husband and I have caused with our clothing when leaning over the crib.

I love this product. It has saved the finish on the crib and given my little one something to teethe on! I bought the xtra wide one for my convertible crib. I am seriously considering buying the standard size to use on the siderails to protect those too
Saved our crib!
We have this on the side of our convertable crib and it does exactly what it is intended to do - save our crib rails! As long as you read the directions prior to cutting it there are no problems.
